Guide to Event Hosting

We all hate a stinky, disgusting office refrigerator, so we designed our kitchen to have a smaller fridge space that’s meant for daytime storage. Event hosts and their guests are welcome to use the top shelf on a first come, first served basis during the workday if needed. Anything left in the fridge overnight will be removed the following morning.

Snacks and Drinks

Free snacks and sodas are the coolest! We want you and your guests to be able to grab a little something to help increase your energy levels and your productivity when you need it. However, we expect our event hosts and guests to treat our free offerings as a source of the occasional boost—and not as a substitute for providing food. If you would like to have food at your event, please see the link below for a list of some suggested restaurants based on your event location.

Want to help save the world? We do, too! That’s why we invite you and your guests to fill up your cup with cold filtered water from our tap or water fountain instead of regularly reaching for the water bottles in the fridge. If we save these bottles for clients, guests, and occasional member use, we can be more green and save more green, too.  However, you are more than welcome to provide your own water bottles at your event if you wish to do so!

Noise Level

Please be conscious and courteous when it comes to noise levels of your event. While our conference rooms are their own pace, they are still in close proximity to other offices and coworking space, so loud noises can be distracting! If you anticipate this being a concern for your event, please let us know so that we can make additional arrangements for you.

Conference room

When you book a conference room, that space becomes your space. Please practice good manners by keeping it clean and neat! Pick up after yourself and take care of forgotten items event guests may miss as well. Follow the golden rule of “Do unto others as you would have them done unto you.” Or, to put it another way, leave the area as neat as it was when you got there.

Use this checklist as a guide for Conference Room Etiquette:

  • Place any dirty dishes in the kitchen sink

  • Wipe down the whiteboard/glass walls and table surfaces if needed

  • Place all trash in the trash can and take out the trash if necessary

  • Push in chairs

***$50 cleaning fee will be billed if the room is left in poor condition***

Cleaning Tips

  • There should be a small trash can already in each conference room, but if you are expecting to need a bigger trash can for your event please let a team member know! They will grab one from the kitchens for you.

    • If you used a bigger trash can for your event and it is full at the end, we would really appreciate it if you could take it out! Dumpsters are located in the back parking lot behind the building.

  • If you need cleaning supplies at any point during your event, these will be located in the kitchen cabinets. If you cannot find what you are looking for, don’t hesitate to ask a team member!

Last But NOt least…

We would like to thank you for reviewing these guidelines! Your cooperation ensures that our space remains fully functional for all members and guests. If you have any additional questions or concerns about what is listed here, please feel free to contact us!
